Michael Wolf possesses more than 25 years of experience managing premier vineyards in Napa Valley. Grapes farmed by him for grower clients are sourced by such prestigious wineries as Harlan, Bond, Araujo, Lail, and Duckhorn.
Michael espouses a hands-on, meticulous approach to vineyard management that is ideally suited to the demands of the rugged topography and varied conditions found in Nicali Vineyard’s eleven separate blocks. Impressed by his successful collaboration with Celia Welch at Scarecrow, Carol and Greg Lindstrom asked Michael to take over stewardship of the estate effective January 1, 2010.
Founded in 1997, Michael Wolf Vineyard Services is based in Yountville with a staff of 70 dedicated employees providing a full range of vineyard management services. Michael Wolf is a member of the American Society of Enology and Viticulture, a Trustee and Past Chairman of the California Grower Foundation, and a past Director and President of the Napa County Farm Bureau.
