Patrick Alt has been a fine art photographer for thirty-five years and is considered a master of large format photography. A friend of Greg and Carol Lindstrom, he spent two weekends during different seasons photographing Nicali Vineyard and the surrounding area. Working with cameras as small as 8 x 10 to the 100-year-old 18 x 22 inch mammoth plate camera, he has captured the unique sense of place of this special property. His images are printed in the exquisite alternative process of handcoated platinum which gives the work a subtle antique feel.
